Full-grain calfskin in dark brown with the characteristic metal studs at the lug ends, developing a rich patina at contact points over months of wear. The aviator construction is period-correct for Swiss and German pilot watches — a flat two-piece strap with studded ends, historically the standard leather configuration for IWC, Laco, and Hanhart aviation references.
