Chestnut sits between oak and dark brown — a rich, mid-warm brown with depth and complexity that suits the widest range of pilot watch case metals and dial colours. Full-grain calfskin in chestnut with the characteristic metal studs at the lug ends, developing a visible patina with wear that reveals the natural character of the hide. The aviator construction — flat two-piece with studded ends — is the historically correct pilot strap design, appropriate for any mid-century or heritage aviation reference from IWC and Breitling through to vintage German Flieger watches. Built-in quick-release spring bars. Available from 18mm to 24mm.
