The Monza is a racing watch strap made to the exact dimensions of the original leather strap issued with the Omega Speedmaster in the 1970s — the period when the Speedmaster was the reference chronograph of motorsport as much as spaceflight. The original was pig leather. The Monza uses full-grain calfskin in a pebble-grain surface character that replicates the tactile quality of the original as closely as any modern leather can — the same raised, textured feel against the wrist, the same proportions between the lugs, the same profile on the case.
The orange contrast stitching is not decoration — it references the orange accents that have defined the Speedmaster's design language across its racing-era references, and the high-visibility colour philosophy of professional motorsport equipment. Black and orange on a Speedmaster is one of the most celebrated colour combinations in collector watchmaking.
Full-grain calfskin throughout — the top layer of the hide, retaining the natural grain and developing a genuine patina with wear. Unlike the original pig leather, full-grain calfskin deepens and enriches over months of daily use, making the Monza more characterful the longer it is worn. Built-in quick-release spring bars for tool-free strap changes in seconds.
